Get to know Windsor Brokers

Windsor Brokers has been providing its services since 1988 and increasing its value to its customers over all those years. Brokers come and go, but Windsor Brokers is here to stay.

Overview of Windsor Broker

After its founding in 1988, Windsor Brokers is one of the oldest online brokers in the industry. Online CFD trading offers customers in more than 80 countries worldwide through two core positions. The first is based in Cyprus and licensed by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Authority (CySEC) where this center provides services to customers within Europe.

The rest of the world has access to services through Belize’s center and a sister office in Jordan. These two are organized by Belize’s International Financial Services Commission and the Jordanian Securities Authority.

MetaTrader 4 (MT4) is a trading platform used by Windsor Brokers, which was very welcome. Through this platform, customers have access to a variety of financial assets for trading, but no cryptocurrencies are on offer.

When it comes to accounts, we were pleased to see Windsor Broker get rid of all levels and simply offer two types of accounts – one for beginners and one for more experienced traders that can also be upgraded to VIP status.

Overall, everything looks good and the broker is well regulated, does this mean that it is a good broker to meet your trading needs? That’s what we’re going to explore during this article.

Windsor Broker Licenses

Windsor Brokers Ltd. is organized by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) and provides its services to EU broker customers specifically. It bears license number 030/04 and complies with the standards established by ESMA. This means that negative balance protection is provided, ensuring customers that they will never lose more than they deposited. The broker also participates in the investor compensation fund.

Windsor Brokers (BZ) is licensed in Belize by the International Financial Services Commission. The broker recently added a €5 million insurance policy to protect its obligations against customers by providing coverage against errors, omissions, negligence, fraud, and various other risks that could lead to financial loss. It operates in Jordan under the supervision of Seldon Investments Ltd. and is subject to the supervision of the Jordanian Securities Authority under the company’s national 200168191 number.

We mentioned that Windsor Brokers is a company licensed by the Cyprus Securities and Trading Authority CySEC as well as financial services authorities in the UK FCA and registered with BaFin in Germany and ACPR in France. Windsor applies European Investment Law.

Types of accounts located in Windsor Brokers

Windsor Brokers can choose between two types of accounts. Prime’s main account and zero accounts. In general, you can say that the Prime account is designed for new traders, and the Zero account is designed for experienced traders.

In specific terms, the Prime account has a small minimum deposit of $100 and has no commissions, with spreads as low as 1.0 points on major foreign exchange pairs. Customers have a personal consultant and can also benefit from training.

Zero’s account comes with a minimum deposit of $2,500 and a commission of $8. Zero accounts are recommended for experienced active traders as no training is provided but they have a personal account manager at their disposal.

Traders with Zero accounts can also apply to upgrade the account to a Zero VIP account. These come with a dedicated customer manager and individual meetings with technical analysts.

All accounts outside the EU come with 1:500 leverage, while the EU accounts are held with 1:30 leverage from ESMA. EU customers can increase this leverage to 1:500 if they qualify as professional traders.

In addition, Prime accounts can take advantage of Islamic rules that make them sharia-compliant by eliminating overnight swaps. This is not available for Zero accounts.

Furthermore, a demo account is available that can be used to test the broker’s platform and trading conditions.

Trading platforms

As mentioned earlier, Windsor Brokers offers the MetaTrader 4 trading platform. Which is a favorite favored by long-term forex traders for a very. good reason – they are simply the best to trade forex assets. They are also good for CFDs and come with a range of features, such as:

More than 30 detailed technical indicators.

Expert advisors to automate trading.

Several types of orders, including limit orders and stop losses.

Custom-built indicators and EAs from the Metaquotes community.

Another benefit of offering MetaTrader 4 is that it is available to download on desktop, mobile device, or web trader version, and all are synchronized so you can trade anywhere and at any time.

In conclusion

In general, we were very impressed by the shows at Windsor Brokers. It is no surprise that they know exactly what they are doing though, with more than 3 decades of experience in the industry.

Having MetaTrader 4 as a trading platform is excellent, and the fees, spreads, commissions, and banking terms are perfectly fair.
